How do I measure my windows for blinds or curtains? +

For accurate measurements, we recommend booking a professional in-home consultation. However, if you're obtaining a preliminary quote, here are basic guidelines:

Width: Measure the window width at three points (top, middle, bottom) and use the narrowest measurement for inside mounts, or the widest for outside mounts
Height: Measure height at three points (left, centre, right) and use the longest measurement
Inside Mount: Blinds installed within the window recess. Measure exact recess depth and width
Outside Mount: Blinds installed outside the recess. Add 10-15cm on each side for proper light coverage
Curtains: Consider desired length (sill, below sill, floor, or puddle) and allow extra width for fullness
